Summary:
The Computer Assistant is responsible for providing technical support to employees and customers.
This includes troubleshooting computer problems, and installing and configuring hardware and software, and providing training on computer applications.
The Computer Assistant must be proficient in a variety of computer technologies and have excellent customer service skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to employees and customers via phone, email, or in person.
Troubleshoot computer problems, identify, and resolve issues.
Install and configure hardware and software.
Provide training on computer applications for users.
Update computer systems and software.
Stay up to date on the latest computer technologies.
Clean and maintain computer and computer related equipment.
Change print drums, toner, and ink.
Move and setup computer and computer related equipment.
Maintain copier address books.
Assist in maintaining inventory of all PC equipment, spare parts, supplies, and software.
Assist in keeping all I.

documentation up to date.
Assist with computer audits and logging.
Maintain our computer recycle program.
Assist users with special projects as needed.
Maintain computer room and storage area.
Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
