Short Description:2 temporary net adds to assist ISMS org with migrating all 121 MPLS routers, 676 Cisco managed firewalls, and 1247 wireless routers.
Complete Description:Description - External
The Service Systems Engineer''s responsibilities include the testing and technical investigation of products and services
related to new and existing service programs. Interact with development organizations, interface with third party product
technical resources and coordination with Divisional service personnel for the purposed of installation and knowledge
transfer.
Essential Functions include:
Develop, improve, and test terminal configurations (states, screens and FITS).
Services Level 2 customer support
Support DTS daily operations.
Build, support, and troubleshoot RemoteLink installs. (ATM screens, graphics, campaigns, and EDC)
Install, maintain, and support new and existing Advisor/OpteView customers.
Troubleshoot problems within applications, identify software programming defects, and resolve.
Provide technical and system support as needed for internal and external customers.
Follow Change Management processes.
Assist with developing, maintaining, and testing DR processes
Responsible for clear and concise documentation for internal processes and procedures.
Maintain knowledge based systems.
Respond to and complete work queue requests.
Work required shifts, overtime as necessary, and maintain on-call availability as required.
Responsible for timely completion of all assigned tasks and projects.
Maintain ATM lab equipment
Maintain application test environments
Services certification
Qualifications - External
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Programming or other related field and/or 2-3 years
systems experience.
Understanding of 1Link or equivalent transaction processing, EMS or equivalent ATM status monitoring,
iqESD or equivalent ATM software distribution environment helpful
Strong application troubleshooting experience.
Advanced operating knowledge of and experience with personal computers
Must be a self starter requiring little supervision.
Must have strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
Must have strong customer facing skills.
Ability to communicate technical information effectively both verbally and in writing.
Graphic design experience helpful.
Basic understanding of networking and TCP/IP communications helpful.
