Job Summary:
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for selling transportation brokerage services by developing relationships with existing and potential customers; including but not limited to identifying prospects, cold calling, cultivating relationships, servicing all customer needs, initiating and monitoring the completion of all customer contracts, requests for proposal and bids. The Sales Account Manager will also be responsible for interacting and communicating with Operations to ensure we meet customer's expectations.

Position Information:
Selling - Responsible for building a portfolio ofqualified customers by reaching and seeking out prospects via over the phonesales calls. Using the telephone, e-mail or other forms of communication the SalesAccount Manager will contact existing and potential customers daily to developand penetrate relationships.
Customer Service- Responsible for all customersfacing interaction and communications with the customer regarding themanagement of the movement the shipments. Responsible for problem solving,addressing concerns and implementing solutions for customers.
Contract completion and monitoring - Topromote customer satisfaction and improve on-going sales the Sales AccountManager will be responsible for facilitating the administrative process relatedto the approval and completion of contracts, requests for proposals and bids incollaboration with the Leadership and Operations.
Sales and payment follow-up - Responsible for partneringwith team members to ensure the correct and timely payment of invoices.Contacts customer to obtain the necessary information to resolve discrepanciesand works with customer when necessary to expedite payment.
Teamwork- Partner and communicate with team members andRegional Dispatch Analysts to ensure that customer needs are met through theoperational execution of the loads.
Two to five years of previous B2B sales experience required. Five to seven years of previous B2B sales experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Working knowledge of computer software applications (MS Office Suite) Detail oriented, ability to multi-task Understanding of the transportation industry Occasionaltravel may be required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
