Summary:
Supervise and develop your team.
Oversee the entire collections process (billing to collections) with the goal of decreasing Days Sales Outstanding.
Identify process to maintain a high functioning accounts receivable center.
Ensurescompany's risk is limited and that excellent customer service is provided.
Collaborate with department on any customer related issues or concerns.
You will uphold the Purple Promise by making every customer experience outstanding.
Position Information:
Supervise and develop your team of direct reports by through coaching sessions, training, skill enhancement, annual reviews, goal setting and career planning and goal setting, and performance management.
Oversee the entire collection process. Including, balancing of General Ledger accounts associated with the Accounts Receivable team.
Ensure accurate billing and timely collection of receivables while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Monitor customer credit and collection status to ensure appropriate speed of recovery and consistent days sales outstanding results.
As needed, oversee collection agency interaction and ensure overall performance.
Ensures internal controls, policies, and procedures are maintained and reviewed on an on-going basis.
Collaborate with sales and operations on collection issues, extension of credit, and other customer
related issues.
Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements in order to maintain a state-of-the-art accounts receivable center.
Develop, create, and publish required performance reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - Finance or Accounting
Professional Certifications preferred - Credit & Collections Standard Certifications (CCE, CCP)
2 to 5 years' experience - Credit & Collections
2 years' experience - leadership, supervision
